Teeny Golf

Mini golf scoring — and a pocket course to play

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

This policy describes how the Teeny Golf iOS app (“Teeny Lab” on TestFlight) handles information. It is based on how the app works today.

What stays on your device

Teeny Golf is designed to keep your golf data on your iPhone or iPad:

There is no Teeny Golf account to create, and the app does not upload your scores, photos, or history to Teeny Golf servers. The current version does not sync that data with iCloud.

No data sent to the developer by the app

Aside from optional feedback you choose to send (see below) and purchases handled by Apple, the app does not transmit your player lists, courses, history, or photos to the developer.

Photos and camera

If you allow access, the camera and photo library are used so you can take or choose a player selfie, pick a home photo, or attach game photos/clips. Processing and storage for those features are on-device. The app may also save a photo or clip to your Photos library when you ask. Teeny Golf does not upload those images to the developer.

Feedback email

If you use About Us → Send Feedback (or email us), your device’s Mail app can open a message addressed to us. A short diagnostics block may be prefilled (app version, iOS version, device model). That email is sent only if you choose to send it. We use it to respond to your feedback.

Purchases (Teeny Golf Plus)

Optional Plus unlocks (themes, selfies, photos/clips, custom colors, and no interstitial ads) are sold as an in-app purchase. Payment and purchase records are handled by Apple through StoreKit / your Apple ID. Teeny Golf does not receive your full payment card details.

Advertising (free version)

If you are not unlocked for Teeny Golf Plus, the app may show a full-screen interstitial ad after you finish a scored game (before the winner screen). Ads are not shown mid-round, and Plus removes them.

Ads are provided by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. When an ad loads or shows, Google’s SDK may collect or process device and advertising-related information according to Google’s policies (for example device type, general location inferred by Google, ad interaction, and advertising identifiers where allowed). Teeny Golf configures Google’s SDK for child-directed / age-restricted treatment and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt to request tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.

The Google Mobile Ads package may include related Google frameworks (such as User Messaging Platform) as dependencies; Teeny Golf does not present a separate custom consent UI of its own beyond what the SDK may show. For Google’s practices, see Google’s advertising / privacy documentation for publishers and users.

Note: shipping builds may use Google test ad unit IDs during development; production AdMob IDs may replace them later without changing this overall description of on-device vs. Google-handled ad data.

Reviews

The app may ask you to rate Teeny Golf using Apple’s standard in-app review prompt. That flow is handled by Apple.

Children

Teeny Golf is meant to be family-friendly. Score and photo data stay on the device. Advertising requests are tagged for child-directed treatment. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own servers. Parents who have concerns can contact us at the email below.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
